ASTEM Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation supporting STEM education in Australia through student-centred robotics competitions, community engagement and partnerships.
ASTEM Incorporated exists to:
advance STEM education through robotics competitions, workshops, events and related learning activities;
promote equality, integrity, fairness and transparency in STEM competitions;
inspire students to pursue STEM subjects, pathways and careers;
support students, teachers, mentors, volunteers and schools participating in robotics competitions;
engage the wider community in understanding robotics, coding, engineering, artificial intelligence, automation and emerging technologies;
develop educational resources, training and standards that improve the quality of STEM competition experiences.
ASTEM Incorporated is the official Australian International Partner of Robotics Education & Competition Foundation to help deliver RECF competition opportunities in Australia.
The REC Foundation’s global mission focuses on competition, education and workforce-readiness programs that increase student engagement in STEM, computer science and related fields.
